Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Advisor
CARE International UK is seeking a skilled and dynamic Women’s Economic Justice Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Advisor for the Impact and Learning Team. This is an exciting opportunity within the global team which leads the CARE International confederation on advancing thinking about how we tackle the issues of poverty and inequality which systematically disempower women.
The post-holder will lead on supporting country offices in developing new programmes and in demonstrating their impact. The post-holder will support colleagues across the globe, and particularly within country offices, to implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks and will take on responsibility for developing our learning framework in order to capture best practice from our programming so as to drive programme quality.
CARE International UK is seeking someone who has demonstrable experience of working in program quality, research and MEAL, in addition to technical knowledge and experience of Women’s Economic Justice. You will have strong skills in the design, development and delivery of monitoring and evaluation systems, experience in managing evaluations and impact measurement, and enthusiasm for and experience in capacity building of colleagues in country offices. You will also have a strong commitment to our organisational values on Gender Equality.
The post can be based in the UK or in any global south country where CARE has an office. However, the post-holder will need to have the right to work in any country where they are based.
