Focusing on the life cycle of the food and land system including production, supply and consumption, the WRI China Food and Natural Resources Program dedicates to the sustainable transition of food and land system to accelerate the climate mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity protection, SDGs initiatives, and protecting the environment and human health.
The role will involve reporting to the Director of the Food and Natural Resources Program. The Associate of WRI China Food and Natural Resources Program will lead the development and implementation of the team’s greening supply chains strategy (mainly soft commodities), including food, forest and other soft commodities that are critical for global food, forest and land system. The successful candidate will conduct researches, engagement and project management to identify and maintain WRI China’s approaches and value propositions on greening soft commodity supply chain, and this might include but no limited to policy, finance and business engagement, as well as developing and securing fundraising opportunities for the project of soft commodity supply chains.
