Short-term research awards – Taiwan

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) invites applications for its short-term research awards. These support international scholars in undertaking short-term research into Taiwanese humanities disciplines, social science, culture, arts or related comparative research in Taiwan.

PhD students or postdoctoral research fellows may apply. Applicants may not hold a Republic of China passport.

Twenty awards are available. PhD students receive a monthly subsidy of TWD 25,000 each and postdoctoral scholars receive a monthly subsidy of TWD 40,000 each. Visits last for two to six months.
